My name is Cosmo, founder of Diamond Protector, and I would like to personally explain what DP is and how we came to be. I acquired my love for diecast in 2022, and it has since become a huge part of my life.
With a large personal collection of my own, I was never satisfied with the quality of protectors my diecast would arrive in. There was no way I would display my collection as mediocre in an unstable, unsecure, hazy, thin plastic case. I purchased all of the other protectors on the market to test them. Unpleased with all these brands, I knew I wanted to offer a premium quality protector to display collections to those (such as myself) who spend their hard-earned money on this hobby at a fair and competitive price. Using thick virgin PVC to give you the best clear display while being UV Coated and Shock Absorbent, DP mainline, and premium single carded protectors also stand up straight for a beautiful display!
After cornering the market for protectors and establishing our brand, I decided to move onto Acrylic Displays. Using many other acrylic displays, I realized the ease of use did not come with any ease. In fact, fighting with screws/tabs along with QR codes not being active for installation instructions, I decided to make ours 100% user friendly. The less screws/tabs, the more time admiring your collection instead of trying to figure out assembly. Using industrial strength micro-magnets, assembly of DP Acrylic Displays is just a snap away. All DP Acrylic Displays will come with printed instructions in the box with your item, along with a pair of smudge resistant white gloves.
While perfecting our line of Protectors and Acrylic Displays, I noticed that no matter how safe you were with shipping, there was something missing. No matter how safely you package an item for shipping, companies have many ways of damaging packages. I wanted to offer a safer alternative to shipping, especially with those high caliber, hard to find, true collector pieces. This is when I decided to offer Diamond Protector Armor. Armor is a hard plastic case that is extremely tough to damage. With foam inserts in place (mostly gridded) you can safely place items into an Armor case and either ship or store your items safely and securely.
As Diamond Protector continues to grow daily, my goal is to provide the highest quality product that is desired and loved. I have many ideas and the future is bright for DP with the support and appreciation from all of you, our retailers, and our in-house team.
